Assessment of Honey Mumford Learning Styles to Improve the Lifelong Learning in Personal and Professional Contexts Leaning style is one of the most essential parts in the personal professional life. Without proper learning style it is not possible to improve the career in both the fields. Peter Honey Alan Mumford contributed most in the development of the learning styles. According to them there are various learning styles these are as follows: Activist: For the Activists the main style of learning is the learning by doing. They use different tools for learning these are group discussion, problem solving, brain storming etc. They are generally open-minded at the same time enthusiastic. This helps them to initiate any task without thinking of the consequence. Pragmatists: these people focus more on applying new techniques to solve any problem. They are comparatively more practical compared to the others. They learn on the basis of trial error method (Honey Mumford, 2006, 9(3), 105-119). Theorists: they generally want to apply the observations from different sources I the theoris to see whether these observations fit into the theory or not. They have a tendency to analyse the whole process until they get the result they do not become satisfied. Reflectors: they accumulate data from different sources then analyse them completely. Finally they reach to the conclusion. They look at everything from different perspective. People should at first evaluate themselves thoroughly then have to find out the suitable way of learning for them. Applying the proper learning style helps people to learn easily while learning. Impact of Self Managed Learning in the Development of the Individual Group There are different sources of self managed learning these are imperative for the individual as well as the group development. In college in the working organisations different seminars conferences are arranged these are the platform to exchange the ideas of the people also the experiences. This helps the people in developing the personal skills. Another source for improving the personal skills is the social networks. Here people can also make community can share their ideas (Schmeck, 20139(3), 105-119). Through this process people can learn from other people improve the personal skill. Internet is also a platform to enhance the self learning skill. Illustrating With the Help of a Diagram the Way Self Managed Learning Helps in Personal Development Self managed learning is the process through which the people can continuously assess his skill level improve its personal skill. It can be achieved through different processes. Self evaluation helps the people to analyse the situation questions are formed in the mind of the people. Through proper learning projects people can solve the doubts get the answer of the question. Finally through sharing the ideas among the people help them to improve the personal skills at the same time to review the lifelong learning continuously (Pashler et al. 2008, 31(6), 689-703). Conclusion: From the above study it can be concluded that the learning styles are inevitable to improve the personal skills at the same time in improving lifelong learning process continuously in the personal the professional level.
